Description:
Some file systems (for example, ABFS) do not support file names/paths ending
with the {{.}} character. The following error is thrown:

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: ABFS does not allow files or
directories to end with a dot.
}}}
We should escape dots in partition names
