The support of Python 3.8 was dropped not long ago and I didn't find any Python
version declaration in the
[spark-docker|[https://github.com/apache/spark-docker]]. I guess the Python
version is picked automatically (maybe deprecated versions are deleted from the
repo the base image is using) and new versions of spark-docker images will be
packed with fresher Python.
