https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-42204 intended only to add a flag
but not to change default behavior, but I made a mistake related to
double-negation and accidentally set the opposite of the intended default.
Thus, this Jira / PR corrects the code to roll back the unintentional behavior
change and updates the documentation accordingly.
