[~dongjoon] I think the current implementation has basically reached the
"mid-exam" goal of SPIP. The component is essentially usable, and the risk of
blocking the 4.1 release is low. In the next few days, I will complete the
remaining sub-tasks (features) that are still in the open state, and then focus
on testing and quality improvement.
Currently, I anticipate several types of issues that may need to be addressed
in the QA period:
1. Reviewing whether all implemented APIs conform to the JDBC API specification.
2. Reviewing whether the current implementation may introduce backward
compatibility risks.
3. Improving the Connect Client JDBC packaging script; the current module
dependencies are unreasonable.
4. Integrating with more common platforms, such as DBeaver and JetBrains
DataGrip, and fixing issues that significantly impact user experience.
After 4.1 feature freeze, new features can go to the master branch and target
4.2. This may have a few exceptions if we audit some features that are small
enough but will significantly impact the user experience, during the QA period.
