Holden Karau commented on SPARK-54734:
--------------------------------------
[~sandy] Is the idea here we'd do this for spark-pipelines so someone could
just have a given table shown instead of the normal output triggered? Or is it
more a spark-show command to show a table in the warehouse? I think it's the
first but just want to make sure.
> Add a command line interface for previewing tables

> When developing with the spark-pipelines CLI, or other Spark tools that can
> be invoked from the command line, it's often useful to be able to preview the
> data that's being produced.
> We could support a spark-show (name TBD) command line interface that accepts
> a table name and number of rows and shows the first N rows.
