Resolving as Fixed: this change was merged to master. Implementing commit:
1fba28640702dbe02ca5d30577a0a206638ec02e [SPARK-32781][SQL] Non-ASCII
characters are mistakenly omitted in the middle of. (Triaged as a stranded
ticket — the fix landed but the JIRA was left unresolved. Verified present on
current master and not reverted.)
