Looking at the documentation for the Spark History server. It has:
SPARK_HISTORY_OPTS spark.history.* configuration options for the history
server (default: none).
It is unclear to me the format in which I should specify the configuration
options. Is it a comma separated list, is it the same as JAVA_OPTS with -D. If
its the same as the JAVA_OPTIONS is there any difference between these
variables.
Note looking at the sbin/start_history_server.sh script it appears that you use
-D in front of each conf.
