[~yanboliang] We will remove the old aggregate function code path in 1.6. Right
now, we need to figure out a way to switch our new code path. I will put up a
doc on how to do the migration. There are a few JIRAs that are blocking this
one (one is SPARK-10429). I think it is better to wait a little bit until we
are close to finish other tasks.
btw, we have already had two PRs for stddev. I think variance, var_pop, and
var_samp will pretty much the same as stddev, right? Probably people working
stddev will take this PR.
