As a point of process -- shouldn't the test have been part of SPARK-10379 when
it was committed?
If that wasn't possible for some reason, surely it is tightly related to that
JIRA?
It isn't just a point of process but of making sure that when someone looks at
a JIRA they can locate all of the necessary changes including tests. I
personally would suggest this JIRA doesn't add value and the test should be
opened as a second PR for SPARK-10379.
