The following snippet reproduces this issue under {{spark-shell}}:

import sqlContext._
case class N(i: Int)
case class T(a: Array[N])
val ds = Seq(T(Array(N(1)))).toDS
ds.show()
{noformat}
Note that, classes defined in Scala REPL are inherently nested.
