Thanks for sharing the details. I have started looking Apache beam. In terms of
gap analysis, do we need to look at the missing beam features in storm

Do we need to support Beam pipelines (Batch/Stream) in Storm as part of this
POC. We may also require to support Beam IO and provide flexibility to run the
algorithm for
1. Classic Batch
2. Windowed Batch
3. Streaming
4. Streaming and Accumulation
Some of above might already be supported.
As a first step, are you ok if I update the beam prototype you mentioned with
latest beam api against storm master branch.
These are some of my initial thoughts to understand more about the problem
domain. Please advise.
