We recently hit an issue (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STORM-2829)
because Jackson can't serialize some Java 7 classes. In order to avoid this
kind of problem in the future, I think we should upgrade Jackson.
Jackson has had support for the JDK7 additions since 2.8.0, so upgrading past
this point should prevent this kind of bug from popping up again.
