Stig Rohde Døssing commented on STORM-3382:
-------------------------------------------

Yes, the logs are written to e.g. logs/nimbus.log, logs/supervisor.log etc. You
can just tail the files if you like, or set up something more elaborate like
Logstash to grab the logs.

The log shows your topology was told to shut down by Nimbus. My guess is you
might be running the topology with some sort of timeout. Could you post the
code that sets up your topology to run on the LocalCluster?

> We are reading the contents of a file from S3 via spout.
> When we are reading a small file like 30KB or so, the spout works fine.
> But when we read the file of size 40 GB approx the topology fails with the
> error, ERROR o.a.s.d.s.ReadClusterState - Failed to Sync Supervisor. And the
> thread is interrupted.
> Please finds the logs attached.
