Follow-up to #9151. Before surefire 3.6.0, the integration-test job ran 0
TestNG tests, so these problems went unnoticed. With #9151 they run, and
`TumblingWindowTest` failed 8 of 12 tests plus 2 errors before the job hit its
45-minute timeout.
- **Workers never started.** `integration-test/config/storm.yaml` set
`worker.childopts` with Java 8 GC logging flags (`-XX:+PrintGCDateStamps`,
`-Xloggc`, …) and no `-XX:+IgnoreUnrecognizedVMOptions`, so the worker JVM
refused to start on Java 25 (`Unrecognized VM option 'PrintGCDateStamps'`). The
spouts therefore emitted nothing (`Emit count … is 0, min is 5`). The flags now
use the unified `-Xlog:gc*` syntax. `storm-java9.yaml`, which was only appended
for JDK 11, is removed.
- **Invalid-size cases errored.** `TumblingWindowTest.testTumbleTime` and
both `SlidingWindowTest` tests asserted `IllegalArgumentException` for
non-positive sizes, then built the topology again anyway. They now return after
the assertion.
Not covered here: the UI daemon still fails to start in CI ("Cannot find
static file directory … storm-webapp-…jarWEB-INF"). The integration tests don't
use the UI.
