Hi Dominick,

thanks for the request. 

So far we didn't plan this. But we are totally open for new components and it 
would be great to have an AWS IoT integration.

I recently started to refactor our connect library. I started with the 
frontend, but I also plan to improve the backend side to make it easier to 
implement new adapters.

If you are interested in providing the implementation  for this adapter I am 
happy to assist you.

At [1] is the implementation of our MQTT adapter, I guess the one specific for 
AWS IoT MQTT could be similar, right?
