Philipp Zehnder commented on STREAMPIPES-387:
---------------------------------------------

Hi [~hrushi20],

welcome to the StreamPipes community and thanks for contacting us.

I think this is a great feature to get started.

You can also subscribe to our development mailing list [1] where we usually
discuss new features and current developments.

Do you already have a development set up? For this feature you need to work in
the extensions project [2], how to set it up is described here [3].

I'll write a list of the adapters for the different modules on the mailing
list, then we can discuss it there.

> Currently, all adapters that are included in StreamPipes are served from a
> single service. Besides IIoT adapters, there are several adapters that are
> not directly related to IIoT data ingestion, but other sources.
> By splitting the connect modules into an "iiot" module and another module
> that includes all other adapters, users can better decide which adapters are
> relevant for their use case.
