Currently, only reading PLC data via PLC4X is supported. However, users
should also have the capability to write results from a Pipeline into a PLC.
## Open Points
- Clarify whether the sink should support writing one or multiple values in
the PLC.
- Determine how to handle the various PLC types supported by PLC4X:
- PR #2637 introduces auto-generation for adapters for different PLC types.
- Decide whether one sink can cover all PLC types or if separate sinks
are necessary.
- Identify required user configurations for such a sink.
