### Apache StreamPipes version dev (current development state) ### Affected StreamPipes components UI ### What happened? **Type**: Feature Request ### **Description** StreamPipes already has an Asset Management module: assets represent real-world objects (e.g. machines, stations) and can be linked to resources like pipelines, adapters, and dashboards. Right now, assets are purely data/metadata — there's no way to attach a picture of the actual machine. StreamPipes also already has a File Management module that supports uploading and storing files (used e.g. for OPC-UA certificates or CSV files). That's a natural building block to reuse instead of building file storage from scratch. ### **Proposed Feature** - Modify the Asset interface to allow the display of images. - Modify the editing of Asset to allow the upload and display of images. - Allow the interaction of images to be removed and deleted. ### **Acceptance criteria** - An image can be uploaded for an asset via the UI - The image is displayed when the asset is opened - The image can be deleted again, with the asset falling back to the no-image state - Non-image files are rejected with reasonable feedback ### How to reproduce? _No response_ ### Expected behavior _No response_ ### Additional technical information _No response_ ### Are you willing to submit a PR?
