The patch you linked to won't make it into struts 2.0.x. I did some
performance testing on webwork and I didn't find OGNL to be a performance issue
at all. In fact, it performed better that I had expected. A simple jsp that
shows the issue would be really helpful for us so we can do some testing
ourselves. As Don mention, if we don't know where the issues are, we can't fix
them.
