I keep on getting the 404 .action file not found

I cant seem to run the first example I tried........I unziped
strut2-blank-2.1.2.war......I am using Tomcat and unzipped the war file into a
folder webapps/ROOT/strut2-blank-2.1.2 folder and i get the error
The requested resource (/myfirststrutsapp/HelloWorld.action) is not available.
I tried to move the folder to just the webapps folder but still same
result.....I am new to server side programming...please help
