Arraylist is set to blank from jsp to dynaactinForm. Why?

I Used one arraylist In my Jsp. For the first time afer publishing when i run
my application the list is getting populated in the jsp but in order to modify
the list when i Submit the form this list is getting set to Blank in the
dynaaction Form.
now next time when I reopen the same page and modify the list info , the List
does not set to blank. this it use to work well.
the problem arise only when i open the page for the first time after publishing.
