In my humble opinion, a MILESTONE version like 2.5/3.0 _could_ break CSS class 
names backward compatibility (provided that there is some clear warning in the 
release notes).

CSS usually aren't that big: the migration should take minutes in most of the 
cases, to hours in the worst case scenario.
