HI Filippo,
Because ServletActionContext.getRequest() returns a HttpServletRequest.
Check the implementation:
return (HttpServletRequest) ActionContext.getContext().get(HTTP_REQUEST);
You could try to cast to MultiPartRequestWrapper. But this is not a bug really.
