Lukasz Lenart created WW-5843:
---------------------------------
Summary: Remove the deprecated REST mapper editMethodName setting
Key: WW-5843
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WW-5843
Project: Struts 2
Issue Type: Task
Components: Plugin - REST
Reporter: Lukasz Lenart
Fix For: 8.0.0
WW-5842 removed the {{;edit}} URL form from {{RestActionMapper}}. The {{/edit}}
form names the method itself, so {{struts.mapper.editMethodName}} no longer has
any effect and was deprecated for removal in 7.5.0.
Remove {{RestActionMapper.setEditMethodName}} and
{{RestConstants.REST_MAPPER_EDIT_METHOD_NAME}}, and drop the setting from the
REST plugin documentation.
