In File>RecentDocuments, most paths begin with 'C:\Documents and Settings\'
This wordy folder name (not Microsoft's best idea) occupies half of the menu
width. It should be abbreviated (in the OO menu --I don't know how to do it in
Windows!), eg, to 'DS' or 'D..' so as to leave room for more meaningful paths
(which are, currently, replaced by dots).
