Hello

This correction represents an important step towards the integration of Math
and Writer. However, there is a need for an adjustment.

Using the test version of OpenOffice (DEV300m101) for Linux (Debian package
64-bit) and Windows, I noted that the alignment is perfect, but only when the
formula is in edit mode. When we left the edit mode, the formula undergoes a
vertical offset of approximately 1 mm relative to the base line.

I added a picture to illustrate the problem. It occurs on both Windows and
Linux. The gap is very small, it is true, but you must make the adjustment,
because in a document with many formulas inline, this difference is very
visible.
