1. Start with a new text document with some dummy text.
2. Insert a small picture (for example an icon) in linked kind with default
style 'Graphics'.
3. Right click the picture and change the anchor to 'as character'.
4. Cut and insert the picture in the middle of the text.
5. Create 'New Style from Selection' and name it for example
'PictureAsCharacter'.
6. Edit this Style and set Height to AutoSize. OK.
7. Set cursor somewhere inside the text, but not at the end.
8. Insert a small picture from file in linked kind, but now with your new style
'PictureAsCharacter'.
Notice, that the picture is indeed anchored as character, but it is not
inserted
at cursor position, but at the end of the document.
9. Set the cursor inside the text and insert a small picture from file in
linked
kind, but now use the build in style 'Formula' (which has as anchor 'as
character' as default).
Notice, that the picture is anchored as character, but again it is not inserted
at cursor position, but at the end of the document.
10. Now modify the style "Graphics" in this way:
Go to tab 'Organizer' and change 'linked with' to 'Formula'.
Go to tab 'Type' and click on button 'Standard'. Notice settings change
to
those seen in style 'Formula'.
11. Repeat step 7 and 8.
12. Repeat step 9.
Notice, now the picture is inserted at cursor position.
Expected behavior: The picture is always inserted at cursor position.
