Even when image appears, the crash still occurs when printing to Canon LaserShot LBP 1120. When printing with the XPS driver, I get a zero byte file, but no crash. After further tests, my problem appears with any printing with OpenOffice.org and with some other applications, e.g. Notepad. Notepad says it was closed by Windows for security reasons. So it seems related with antivirus or Windows security. Sorry for the noise.
