--- Comment #6 from [email protected] 2011-03-29 00:29:01 --- For "es": I can send a copy of the file before damage by OpenOffice, but after editing through MS Office with no damage. I can also send a copy of the file, downloaded a couple of years ago that has not been edited at all. For "mru": You make it sound like this is not a problem, and will not be addressed. Although the particular file I attached had all of the characters intact, and is easily reproduced from other sources, that does not make it a non-problem. I have great concern that I will be using OpenOffice for a large document from a customer, and things will get unformatted and cause problems. My intention to use OpenOffice as my office suite does not mean correct 90% of the time. "es" also mentioned odt version. I was opening an .rtf file, and then saving the file as an .rtf after editing. This was the intended use. Do I need to convert to .odt or (preferably) .doc and save in order to make OpenOffice work correctly? -- Configure bugmail: http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Bugzilla.
