[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #2 from [email protected] 2011-04-02 02:26:01 --- The feature Alan suggests is very important. It would have saved me endless hours of tedious work in converting old documents in which I had used only direct formatting to formatting by styles. Also, I frequently need to put together documents with contributions from numerous authors. Generally, I want to keep their italics, bold, superscripts and subscripts but use styles for typeface, font size, spacing, indents, and the like. At present, to use styles, I have to clear ALL formatting, then put back in the italics, bold, subscripts, and so on. I understand that MS Word has this feature and that there was once an undocumented way to do it in Writer, but that way does not work in 3.4. Please give Alan's suggestion a high priority. -- Configure bugmail: http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Bugzilla.
