Issue Type: ENHANCEMENT
Summary: refresh screen so that found item is at top
Classification: Application
Product: Word processor
Version: version58
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: editing
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
QAContact: [email protected]
When doing a repeated search through a long document, Writer refreshes the
display when the nextFind is off the current screen.
The nextFind is, currently, pastTheMiddle of the newDisplay, which means
that the display will need another refresh after only the bottom half of the
newDisplay has been searched.
Instead, the newDisplay should be such that the nextFind is at the top, not
pastTheMiddle. That way, screen refresh (necessary, but distracting) would be
needed less often.
