Virus alert: I am not a techy so please forgive my simple language. I was able
to trouble shoot on my own as usual but the problem seemed serious...
There was a rebooting problem on my pc. The computer kept shutting down for
about 4 hours until I reinstalled Windows. Concurrant to the rebooting issue, I
had regular pop-up messages stating that a second user was accessing Open
Office. My open office applications were not open at the time. I do not have
word or any other bought text editor on my computer, so all my important
documents are stored on open office. I'm not sure if I need an update, please
let me know if this is the case, or if I need to perform another task. I have
no anti-virus or other security programs, as all the security freeware I've
installed in the past created more problems than they solved. Despite not being
a techy and never paying for security programs, I managed to keep my last
computer functioning for almost 10 years, and have had this new one a year and
a half with no protection and no problems until now.
Thank you so much for your time and efforts. I love freeware, and I hate
Microsoft...
