This may not be 3.4 Beta specific. I have had the same problem in 3.3, not
sure which release of 3.3.
The text cursor is missing while editing a document. It appears the text is
missing in the writer and calc (spreadsheet) modules.
Whether I start a new doc or editing an existing one the text cursor is
missing.
I have been using OO for years, this was not an issue until upgrading to 3.3
see attachment. The text cursor should be located at the end of my sentence.
