I am astonished that it does not get its priority boosted. It's so evident a bug, that it casts doubts on the whole product. Apart from that, - at least in my case - format paintbrush is extensively used and unpredictable. To reproduce the issue, it suffices that I mistakingly do not select the end of paragraph when dragging the format paintbrush. I absolutely agree with will_a_louest that: - if you select only words, only character format is copied and pasted - if you include mark of paragraph end in your selection (even if it's hidden), both characters and paragraph formats are copied and pasted. And I agree with [email protected] that this should not include to reset the paragraph font to Default because: a) the default doesn't correspond to the *current* formatting b) the "font" attribute is not a paragraph attribute.
