Issue Type: ENHANCEMENT
Summary: Auto save / recovery info leaves security hole if
using encrypted volume
Classification: Application
Product: Word processor
Version: version58
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: save-export
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
QAContact: [email protected]
I have some OO documents within an encrypted volume (truecrypt). This volume
will automatically unmount when the computer shuts down either expectedly or
unexpectedly. If an OO document within the volume is open during an unclean
shut down then the auto save info allows the documents to be recovered when the
computer is next started up, even though the volume they are supposed to be in
is unmounted. This problem could be solved if there were the option to keep
autosave / recovery information for each document in the same folder as the
document, rather than centrally.
