When I open a new text document by opening Open Office's main page and then
selecting "new text", the spell checker works fine. But when I open a new
document by right-clicking on the desktop and then selecting "open document
text" then the spell checker won't work. The new document does open as an Open
Office document.
I tried this on a Vista and an XP machine.
