Description:
This task aims to remove the brittle parfor rewrite on update-in-place for
intermediates. Since meanwhile, we apply update in-place also for any for loop,
the performance impact of this rewrite is not critical.
The issues of this rewrite include poor asymptotic behavior in the number of
nodes in the parfor program and in the number of candidates, as well as brittle
comparisons based on hop names and line numbers. In order to not stall the 0.15
release, we remove this rewrite for now and reimplement it for the 1.0 release.
