Thanks Mike. This is extremely useful. One last favor: please re-run it with
the following flags: `-explain recompile_hops -stats` ? This will help me
isolate whether the bug is due to conv2d/pooling functions or something else.
As an FYI, there is a related bug in computing nnz for r' that we found
yesterday. I am not sure if this is related to that, but the above run will
atleast get us one step closer to fixing it.
