[~jeagles] I think [~sseth]'s point was that code in the next release ( 0.6 for
example ) should continue to work with 2.2/2.4/2.5/2.6 versions of hadoop.
Using the new API in YARN will introduce incompatibility against older versions
of Hadoop.
