[~lichangleo] Thanks for the investigation. Ignoring the issue in Hive for now
( it might be good for you to file a separate jira in Hive for the issues that
you have discovered), it seems like that in Tez, we need to fix 2 places for
this issue.
In session-mode, TezClient::start should log/throw an appropriate error as this
is where it launches a new AM.
In non-session mode, TezClient::submitDAG should log/throw the error.
Based on your analysis, it seems that session mode is working fine but
non-session mode is not hence the submitDAG impl needs a fix?
