[~Sreenath] Can you clarify your statement a bit? Based on earlier comments, I
thought this patch had been tested with clean machines and found to be working
without any issues? If not, the main question would be as to why the docs do
not indicate any requirements? If there are still issues, we should consider
reverting this patch and use a profile to use v2.1.1 only for ppc environments.
