I think you are on right track [~abstractdog] If tez doesnt need jetty it
shouldn't be tez's dependency.
I will suggest to get rid of jetty.version altogether since as you noted it
doesn't make sense anymore.
I also think it doesnt make sense for tez to distribute jetty jars which come
from transitive hadoop dependency. So, I will suggest to exclude them from
tez-dist too.
