Hitesh Shah commented on TEZ-1216: ---------------------------------- [~kamrul] Code in a service is definitely more modularized ( though could be put in a common helper and/or a separate class ) . Using a service's state machine raises questions in terms of whether a serviceStop() will always be called. To be more robust, a service is probably the wrong answer. In any case, I think changes will need to match with the potential ones needed in MR as a result of YARN-2074. [~kamrul] Would you mind working with [~vinodkv] to come up with a workable solution? > Clean up the staging directory when the application completes > ------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: TEZ-1216 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TEZ-1216 > Project: Apache Tez > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Mohammad Kamrul Islam > Assignee: Mohammad Kamrul Islam > Attachments: TEZ-1216.1.patch, TEZ-1216.2.patch > > > This JIRA is a part of TEZ-693.
