Can you clarify what happened, and what you wanted? Are you saying it worked
when you did NOT activate the release profile?
It's possible to "attach" the assemblies and have them deployed to the Maven
repo, but we generally want them over in builds/tiles/ and eventually in
www.apache.org/dist/tiles instead.
