That's a helpful document from BSI, thanks. We've been working our minimum spec to the NTIA specifications here: https://www.ntia.gov/sites/default/files/publications/sbom_minimum_elements_report_0.pdf. But, NTIA says you should have author information, it doesn't say it can't be in manufacturer - and I see the distinction in the 1.7 spec.
