dangogh opened a new issue #3087: golang package missing from centos/7 yum repo URL: https://github.com/apache/trafficcontrol/issues/3087 The centos/7 base repository was upgraded to a new version (from 7.5.1804 to 7.6.1810). This new version is missing the `golang` packages our Go builds depend on. Information on the CentOS forums indicates this was a deliberate upstream change as indicated by the release notes below.. We need to handle this in the short term and get the golang packages from epel long-term (probably in concert with upgrading to Go 1.11 Use the Go Toolset instead of golang =========================== The golang package, previously available in the Optional channel, will no longer receive updates in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Developers are encouraged to use the Go Toolset instead, which is available through the Red Hat Developer program.
