## I'm submitting a ... <!-- (check all that apply with "[x]") --> <!--- security vulnerability (STOP!! - see above)--> - [ ] bug report - [ ] new feature / enhancement request - [x] improvement request (usability, performance, tech debt, etc.) - [ ] other <!--(Please do not submit support requests here - see above)--> ## Traffic Control components affected ... <!-- (check all that apply with "[x]") --> - [ ] CDN in a Box - [ ] Documentation - [ ] Grove - [ ] Traffic Control Client - [ ] Traffic Monitor - [ ] Traffic Ops - [ ] Traffic Ops ORT - [x] Traffic Portal - [ ] Traffic Router - [ ] Traffic Stats - [ ] Traffic Vault - [ ] unknown ## Current behavior: The PR that introduced ETR (edge traffic routing) - https://github.com/apache/trafficcontrol/pull/4766 - added a new field to HTTP* and Steering* delivery services (in addition to DNS* delivery services) - max dns answers. Currently, when you create an HTTP*, DNS* or Steering* delivery service the value for maxdnsanswers defaults to zero (no max). ## Expected / new behavior: Does it make sense to have a better default than zero? ## Minimal reproduction of the problem with instructions: In TP, create a HTTP*, DNS* or Steering* delivery service and do not modify "max dns answers". save the ds. notice that max dns answers will be set to 0 (no max). <!-- Licensed to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) under one or more contributor license agreements.
