Description:
Add the notation for Navigation links so that '[*](*)' means "add all generated
Navigation links that haven't already been specified here". So if the user
specified links were "[Next](*) [Elsewhere](http:/...) [*](*)" then potentially
"Back" and "Top" would be added after "Elsewhere" but "Next" would not.
Read '(' '*' ')' for (*). Freakin' smilies.
