Not quite sure this is the intended result.
Both, the TOC and the navigation now break in interesting ways: There's no
longer any indentation to show structure.
The texts themselves are no longer justified and the definition lists, which we
use exhaustively:

look skewed as well.
I don't think it would be good to commit this to show you how it looks - so I
have to disagree with you: It does not fix the docs page formatting ;) I would
go so far as to argue it breaks it!
