No transactions per second available in traffic server 3.0

The following command yields an error which is not in accordance with the
currently available documentation for traffic server:
/tmp >/opt/trafficserver/bin/traffic_line -r
proxy.node.http.user_agent_xacts_per_second
/opt/trafficserver/bin/traffic_line: Variable Not Found
How can we get the basic statistic related to how many transactions per second
the traffic server is handling. This is needed for capacity planning.
